Axium Process, specialist stainless steel fabricators to the hygienic industries, has recently launched the first of its range of 316L stainless steel wedge-wire Pure-Screen filters.

Its rugged construction and versatility make the Pure-Screen filter range ideal for critical applications where filter failure or collapse is not an option and where product smoothness and consistency is essential.

The filters are easy to maintain, have no moving parts and require no tools for access or cleaning.

Available in a 4" body design, the Pure-Screen filter range employs no "O" rings, and has a metal to metal seal design which ensures that the filter element can be removed easily and without sticking.

Elements are interchangeable and are available as standard from 25 up to 3000 micron.

Filter options include a 90 degree, in-line or straight through design as well the Pure-Screen compact filter which is designed for use in confined areas or where flow rates are low.

Axium Process offers a specialist fabrication service and filters can be fabricated to customer specification including a high capacity 6" body design, a jacketed design for product heating or cooling, a duplex or multiplex option and a stand alone design complete with framework.

Sample valves, drain or vent valves can be integrated into any of the options as can isolation or back flush valves if required.
