The new Sperian / Howard Leight website offers visitors a 360-degree experience in fit, selection, protection and motivation, creating the industry's first Hearing Protector Selector tool

"The new Howard Leight website marks a tipping point in hearing conservation," said Renee Bessette, Marketing Manager for Sperian Hearing Protection: "We are committed to becoming a partner to safety managers in running their programmes, and our new site offers everyone the freshest tools to make hearing conservation happen" The new site was developed based on user feedback that identified the need for a more comprehensive online experience

Howard Leight responded by incorporating more in-depth product knowledge and selection resources, and turn-key motivational tools for use in any hearing conservation programme.

The 'Hearing Protector Selector' helps people solve real needs by providing a range of solutions for their specific applications.

Users can identify their noise exposure levels or specific ratings, product styles and/or features, and the most applicable results are recommended.

These listings can be printed or instantly emailed to other people directly from the selector.

Users can also learn about a variety of environmental considerations and preferences, or "basics," when selecting HPDs.

The online product catalogue features expanded product information on all Howard Leight earplugs, earmuffs and accessories, including specifications, recommended applications, literature downloads and related resources.

The section on 'Best practices in hearing conservation' offers educational and programme planning information, posters and other motivational materials, and the well-known sound source series of technical articles on hearing conservation topics.

The site also offers regionalised content for the Americas, Europe and Australia/New Zealand.

The site now offers access to product information, ratings and hearing conservation resources for each visitor's specific geography.

The new site incorporates more user-friendly navigation, including tabbed pages, breadcrumb trails within sections and an enhanced site search functionality.
