New brochure "Sensors for Fluid Technology"

A Balluff UK product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Dec 5, 2005

This full colour brochure shows new products and applications designed especially for the hydraulic fluid power industry, featuring the Balluff BHS high-pressure sensor for cylinders up to 500bar

This full colour brochure features a variety of new products and applications designed especially for fluid power industry.

A highlight of the brochure is the Balluff BHS High-pressure sensor which survives hydraulic cylinders rated up to 500bar.

This new high-pressure sensor for hydraulic cylinders offers both piston position sensing and temperature acquisition for implementing comprehensive monitoring and diagnostics functions.

This is the right sensor wherever the cylinders are subjected to high temperatures, such as hydraulic cylinders on high-temperature injection moulds or other high-performance hydraulic systems whose hydraulic fluids can reach high temperatures.

Ideal for use with biodegradable hydraulic fluids that aren't efficient at dissipating heat.

With conventional proximity sensors these jobs could only be handled by special cooling measures or by locating the sensors outside the critical temperature zone.

The active surface of our new high pressure sensors is made of ceramic, and was designed especially for such high-temperature applications.

The complete output circuit is already integrated - no accessory device is required.

Balluff, the UK subsidiary of Balluff and Co, Neuhausen, Germany is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of inductive, photoelectric, capacitive, magnetic field sensors as well as multiple limit switches, linear position transducers and RFID Identification systems.
