Longer oil change intervals on
compressors
Batoyle Freedom Group has recently developed a new lubricant formulated especially for use in piston compressors, Typhon P68
Incorporating the very latest in performance enhancing additive systems, Typhon P68 can extend lubricant oil change periods to 3000 hours, (depending on the operating conditions of the compressor) Typhon P68 encompasses superior anti-corrosive properties which are particularly effective in eliminating corrosion caused by the condensation/water contamination prone to form during idle periods such as week-end and shut-down periods

Pontus GBF is a new generation scoop / gob accelerator lubricant which boasts outstanding health and safety attributes, superior lubrication properties and ultra low carbon forming tendencies
Excellent demulsibility further ensures rapid separation of water from the oil and minimises problems of sludging and hydrolytic instability.
Enhanced wear protection is provided in the Typhon P68 formulation to ensure optimum performance under conditions of high load and high temperature/pressure.
This is achieved by the use of 'ashless' anti-wear additive systems which provide outstanding lubrication whilst minimising deposit formation.
The accumulation of such characteristics makes longer oil change intervals possible when using Typhon P68.
Although primarily developed for piston compressors, Typhon P68 can be utilised in any compressor application that requires an ISO 68 viscosity lubricant.
Typhon P68 forms part of the complete range of Batoyle high performance compressor lubricants available in a number of ISO viscosities from 32 through to 150. Request a free brochure from Batoyle Freedom Group ...
