Baldor extends high-power AC motor range
to 1100kW

Baldor has extended their high-power AC motor range to 1100kW, increasing the off-the-shelf choice for heavy-duty applications in continuous processing, quarries, pumping etc

Baldor continues to extend its high-power AC motor line, and now offers IEC frame versions rated up to 1100kW (1500HP) These motors, designed to meet the demanding specifications of process industry users, are available in low and medium voltages

The range of options available is extensive and includes: TEFC-packaged (totally enclosed fan cooled) IEC motors rated from 400 to 600kW; ODP, WPI or WPII (open drip proof or weather-protected types I or II) enclosures in IEC frame sizes from 400 to 1100kW; inverter/vector IEC motors rated from 400 to 600kW, and explosion-proof IEC motors to 260kW.

Design and construction options include: high-efficiency windings or Baldor Super-E premium-efficiency windings which exceed EFF1 efficiency levels; standard epoxy VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation) insulation; Baldor proprietary inverter spike resistant wire, form coils on medium voltage motors up to 6600V, and rugged cast-iron frames on all TEFC and ODP/WPI/WPII enclosures.

Custom variants can also be produced with a short manufacturing cycle, thanks to the Baldor build-to-demand Flex-Flow production process.

All the motors are additionally available in NEMA versions.
