Banner Engineering introduces their all-new 2005 Sensing Products Catalogue: for the first time this combines all the Banner 15,000 plus sensing products into a single comprehensive printed resource

Banner Engineering has introduced their all-new 2005 Sensing Products Catalogue, which for the first time combines all of the Banner 15,000 plus sensing products into a single comprehensive printed resource This milestone catalogue is also produced completely in full-colour for a fresh new look and the clearest presentation of sensing information and images

Its efficient content layout delivers critical sensing products and application information in just 498 pages yet includes hundreds of new items.

"Simplified L x W x H dimension drawings, products organized by voltage, accessory information on the first page of each product section, detailed specification charts and easy to follow 'More Information Online' icons make this the most-complete and easy-to-use Banner Sensing Products catalogue ever," said Christian Benson, of Banner Sales and Marketing Department.

Benson pointed out that print materials such as catalogues quickly become outdated and the "More Info Online" icons found throughout the Banner Sensing Products catalogue guide users clearly and quickly to expanded as well as the most current information available.

Organized into 5 sections, the new catalogue includes detailed information about Photoelectric, Measurement and Inspection and Vision sensors as well as complete listings of Accessories and Reference information.

Photoelectric sensors are intuitively grouped by size from miniature to fullsize and measurement and inspection products are segmented by functional grouping such as precision measurement, ultrasonics and parts-detection to name just a few.

A new addition to the 2005 catalogue is the award-winning family of PresencePLUS vision sensors including the multi-inspection capable Pro and self-contained high-throughput P4 models.

The 2005 Banner Sensing Products Catalogue also features an improved Fiber Optic Systems section that includes more fibers, detailed dimension drawings and range information for specified sensors.

Also improved for the 2005 edition is the accessories section that has been expanded to offer the most comprehensive selection of sensing accessories, including brackets, cordsets, apertures, retroreflective targets and replacement components.

This section features detailed dimension drawings, selection charts and colour images of the items listed.

Located in one easy to navigate section, it offers the user a succinct resource for all their bracket, retroreflector and cable needs.

The updated Reference section includes sensor performance curves organized by sensing mode, with page references back to the sensor family pages.

In addition, full-colour electrical hookup diagrams, supplemental information including conversion charts, theory and terminology from the Banner iKnow online training tool, a Glossary of Terms and an International Sales Representatives directory are included.

Also significant is the What's New Section, which offers users a quick overview of the latest product innovations from Banner while the detailed Applications Section and Selection Guide help them identify appropriate sensors for their application.
