As an integral part of the growth and global success of the world's largest chemicals company, BASF IT Services, is committed to eliminating what they call the "Disconnect" BASF IT Services offer this expertise in integrating all aspects of process industry manufacturing to all relevant plants, and are running a series of Forums to offer a taster of this proven expertise

The Process Industry Forum scheduled for 27-29 April 2004 at Cheadle in Cheshire, UK, will demonstrate how to integrate all aspects of business, to achieve maximum results from the asset base, and will show how BASF have used standard SAP and developed enhanced SAP systems to meet their current, and ever changing, business requirements.

BASF IT Services use a comprehensive partner network to share their expertise across the Process Industry.

Presenters will be drawn from the best of expertise from both business partners and customers who have benefited from involvement with BASF IT Services projects.

These include Aker Kvaerner, Aspentech, Emerson Process Management, Atrion, LabVantage, Datamirror and of course BASF IT Services.

The three day event will have a focus on a different aspect of the Process Industry each day.

Day 1 is a Production Seminar discussing Supply and Demand Management, Production Planning and Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality Management and Process Control.

Day 2 is focussed on Engineering and Maintenance, on Planning and Design, Procurement and Build, Maintenance and Operations, Risk Based Inspection, and Measurement and Control.

Day 3 is on Environment, Health and Safety, looking at Compliance, Planning and Scheduling, Operations, Monitoring and Evaluation.

The Forum will demonstrate the proven expertise that is vast, industry specific and unique: it will describe how these services have been integral to the growth and success of BASF, and can be applied to your organisation.
