The SAP basis operation will be transferred from the data centre in Kassel to the BASF IT Services central data centre in Ludwigshafen.
Nearly five years after being outsourced from BASF AG as an independent IT service provider, BASF IT Services has developed into a strong partner with extensive know-how.
It offers clear processes and service level agreements and sees itself as being well equipped to handle the forthcoming tasks in the oil and gas sector.

Wintershall has been active in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas for 75 years.

Wintershall focuses on selected core regions, where the company has built up a high level of regional and technological expertise.
These are Europe, North Africa, South America, as well as Russia and the Caspian Sea area.
