Techne showed the latest addition to its range of portable temperature calibrators at the MTEC exhibition -- a high-temperature model with a top temperature of 1200C The Tecal 1200 is a dry-block model providing very accurate thermal calibration facilities for a wide variety of thermocouples and other temperature-related devices from 150C to 1200C
It is convenient and easy to use on site and in a laboratory.
The heating system is designed to ensure optimum uniformity and rapid heating rates, and the isothermal block assembly is machined from a special Incolloy alloy that gives excellent thermal conductivity and resists high-temperature oxidation.
