Atlas Conditioning Systems for use on solar cells
Edwards, a leading global supplier of vacuum and exhaust management equipment and services, has sold two Atlas thermal conditioning systems to Solsonica of Italy, a solar cell and module manufacturer
It is particularly suitable for aeration systems in waste water treatment applications, allowing operators to make significant energy cost savings.
Unlike conventional induction motor/frequency inverter combinations, the HPM motor is highly efficient throughout the speed range, while the direct drive minimises transmission losses.
The cantilever design means there are no motor bearings and no belt drives, significantly reducing the number of maintenance operations.
There are seven V-SF Plus models, with flow rates from 560 to 8185 m3/hr (330-4800 cfm) at up to 1 bar (14.7 psi) differential pressure, and power ranges from 21 to 270 kW (30-350 HP).
It is easy to install with low noise and low vibration levels.
The V-SF Plus is extremely efficient and environmentally friendly, delivering 100% oil-free air, or contamination-free transported gas.
