New Armor Damp pulsation dampeners to 137 bar

A Blacoh Fluid Control product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Apr 23, 2007

Blacoh Fluid Controls has introduced the Armor Damp series to expand their offerings to 137 bar: this range is an addition to the current high pressure dampeners, good to 275 bar

Armor Damp dampeners are available in port sizes from 1/2 to 3 inch and capacities from 0.16 to 16.4 litres.

Bodies include stainless steel, Hastelloy and Alloy 20.

Bladder options available include Viton, Hypalon and EPDM, which can meet most fluid requirements .

The Blacoh Armor Damp pulsation dampeners are designed for use with positive displacement, metering and process pumps .

Basically the dampeners are a pressure vessel containing a flexible bladder which separates an inert pressurised gas in an upper chamber from the process liquid in a lower chamber.

When properly charged to a correct pressure, these dampeners will reduce or eliminate pulsations from a reciprocating pump action.

With over 8000 models, Blacoh Fluid Control can meet most any pulsation control requirement.
