Designed and certified to conform to PTB 00 ATEX 1003, the Remote Station 18.1in enables the user to use any process control system within Ex areas.

The Bartec Remote Station 18.1in features an LCD with international keyboard and mouse, which can be installed within an Ex area, Zone 1.

It is connected as a second monitor to a PC workstation in the safe area, via easily installed electronic components, connected to each other by a four-pair STP (shielded twisted pair) cable that can be up to 200m in length.

The screen itself is an 18.1in TFT display unit that is characterised by its high definition and extremely large viewing angle.

Both the display and the fully integrated internal electrical system are explosion protected by means of a flameproof enclosure.

The MF-11 keyboard and PS/2 mouse comply with Ex protection type "intrinsically safe" as the system barriers are also located within a flameproof enclosure.
