This prize is awarded every year at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES trade fair and rewards the most innovative new products presented at this meeting point for the electrical automation technology sector.
Among the 49 product suggestions submitted, the expert jury consisting of representatives of ZVEI, VDMA and elektro Automation nominated the MC 9090ex together with nine other products for the Automation Award 2007.
From 27 to 29 November 2007, the visitors of the SPS/IPC/DRIVES fair in Nuremberg could decide which company should be awarded this renowned prize.
Bartec came off as the big winner: The safety technology provider from Bad Mergentheim received 22.5% of the 1,700 votes that were cast.
Bartec left all competitors far behind and won the race! "We are very pleased that our innovative work has been rewarded with this award", said Bartec Chief Executive Officer Ralph Koster.
"As we see it, it does not only support us in marketing our latest product developments, it also provides the incentive to keep on asserting ourselves in the competition for technologies and markets".
