The BersonInLine range of powerful ultraviolet disinfection systems from Berson UV-techniek can provide permanent disinfection of harmful micro-organisms in drinking water, process water and effluent

The UV systems feature an innovative UV lamp, called the BersonMultiWave lamp, which emits a wide spectrum of UV wavelengths which act not only on the microorganism DNA but also on other molecules like enzymes, resulting in scientifically proven non-repairable cellular damage Because of its small size, the bersonMultiWave lamp can be positioned perpendicularly to the fluid flow, increasing disinfection efficiency and reducing the overall size of the disinfection chamber

Its size also means it can be installed directly in-line with the existing pipework, eliminating the need for extensive additional piping associated with conventional UV systems.

BersonInLine systems are available with an optional Energy Control System which adjusts the lamp output as effluent quality and flow rate vary, providing consistent disinfection without excessive energy consumption.

Other options include microprocessor control, UV monitoring and automatic or manual wipers which remove water-borne deposits from the quartz sleeves surrounding the lamps.

The bersonInLine range features a wide variety of models to suit different applications.

The latest addition, the bersonInLine 35000, is powerful enough to disinfect water or effluent with a theoretical flow rate of 35,000 cubic metres per hour - far in excess of any flow rate encountered in industry.
