The popular Annual Dinner of the British Stainless Steel Association [BSSA] will be held on Thursday 9th November at the Stratford Manor, Stratford-upon-Avon, offering an ideal opportunity for colleagues from across the industry to catch up with one another.
At this event, sponsored by Cashmores Metals, the comedian Brian Newbold who has provided the entertainment at numerous celebrity and corporate events will be the after- dinner speaker.
Dubbed 'The Man from the Coal Board', he will undoubtedly recall in his topical material, some hilarious moments of his life sentence there as an engineer, where he developed his unique sense of humour.
Cost of the dinner for BSSA members is GBP60 + VAT, and GBP80 + VAT for non-members.
In the afternoon preceding the Dinner the BSSA is holding a Regional Forum between 3 and 5.30 pm, to which members and non-members alike are invited to come and hear speakers addressing some of the key issues facing our industry.
The programme includes Peter Kaumanns of the ISSF who will give a global perspective on the outlook for the stainless steel market and John Parker, Chairman of the Metals Forum, who will address the business environment facing the metals industry.
Attendance at this event is free.
Further details on the Dinner and the Regional Forum can be obtained from Lucy Jones at the BSSA.
