New checkweigher system is high speed

Bizerba has launched a new checkweigher specifically designed to provide perfect weight measurement alongside reliable process control in a variety of packaging and logistics applications

The new CWM system also offers incredible flexibility, quick belt-release technology and a central control unit featuring a touch screen control panel and easy-to-read display.

Featuring a completely new drive system and belt-unit layout that makes laborious maintenance and cleaning a thing of the past, the CWM represents a significant development in checkweigher technology.

The CWM closed motors and open support structure, for example, ensures belts and belt units are accessible and convenient for wash down.

More importantly, these features combine with the CWM high-speed weight checking capabilities - 150 packages per minute - to offer a total weighing solution.

Suitable for integration with a number of applications, the new CWM incorporates 32-bit processor technology that can be interfaced through standard Ethernet and Profibus networks.

I/0 functionality and optional RS232 point-to-point connections are also available.

This, combined with online servicing and e-learning capabilities which facilitate troubleshooting, tutorials and process monitoring from anywhere in the world, means the CWM meets the processing demands of the information age.

Able to operate in temperatures ranging from -100C to +400C and with a maximum load of either 6Kg (CWM 6000) or 10Kg (CWM 10000), the new checkweigher from Bizerba is the perfect solution for a range of processing applications.

Featuring a stainless steel construction, the unit also meets the IP54 protection class.
