twenty years

A joint supply programme is being organised by sister companies Brook Crompton of Britain and Schorch in Germany to deliver at least 230 EExd motors to Kuwait, for onward shipment to Kerkouk in Northern Iraq for a 15m Euro Petrochemical refinery refurbishment project The motors required will vary in size from the smallest 0.22kW to giant 150kW units, and possibly larger
Brook Crompton will supply low voltage motors and Schorch high voltage.
The quality specification set down in the contract is commensurate with long life and reliability in a demanding environment.
It is realistically expected that many of the motors will receive little or no maintenance after installation, yet may be called upon to work faultlessly for 20 years or more.
