Dwr Cymru, Welsh Water has selected Black and Veatch as 'Preferred Tenderer' for its extensive AMP4 programme and beyond.
For an unprecedented 10-year (two AMPs) duration, this major engagement will see delivery of water and wastewaster schemes throughout the Welsh Water region.
In AMP4 alone, the anticipated value is in excess of GBP60M.
This new framework appointment also provides Black and Veatch with an opportunity to further develop the very high standards it has set during the past five years it has worked with Welsh Water.
Covering numerous projects, Black and Veatch has time and time again met all water quality targets, and established an enviable track record of on-time and on-budget schemes during AMP3 - all met without fail.
Black and Veatch will be the lead partner for all water process schemes, and will continue to deliver wastewater projects as a key ingredient of its role.
As part of the dynamic Welsh Water Capital Alliance, Black and Veatch has worked in close conjunction with the strategic partnering team made up of mainly specialist engineering and construction companies, formed to deliver around 60% of Dwr Cymru Welsh Water's GBP1.2 billion capital investment programme during 2000-2005.
