BiODE is introducing the new AVM3003 viscometer designed to provide instantaneous sample and/or continuous, real-time, in-process viscosity measurements for process control in a cost-effective package

It was announced today BiODE is introducing the new AVM3003 viscometer designed to provide instantaneous sample and/or continuous, real-time, in-process viscosity measurements for process control in a robust cost-effective package that has no moving parts, is the size of a matchbox and just weighs 4 ounces The AVM3003 uses reliable semiconductor technology, packaged in a very portable size, and collects data using a laptop with intuitively easy to use software

The software interface provides simple control limit set up and data log functions for the visualisation, tracking and analysis of all data allowing the operator to measure change in process parameters.

The acquired data can easily be transferred to any Microsoft Windows application.

The software is customisable for specific needs and can be integrated to control system and intranet platforms.

The AVM3003 is hermetically sealed for complete immersion in fluid stream for process control or can be used in lab environments.

It also has integrated temperature measurement capability.

The AVM3003 measures viscosity of fluid from 1 to 100,000 centipoise and rated for temperatures up to 135C in the standard package, with custom options and configurations available for specific industry applications and process environments.

The AVM3003 is factory calibrated and designed for challenging manufacturing environments to provide temperature and viscosity of fluids ranging from oil and lubricants to inks and coatings and wide variety of chemicals.
