CIP-valve for thorough cleaning

A Bioengineering product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team May 20, 2003

Carbohydrates, lipids, protein, salts - whether liquid, dried or burnt in - the CIP-valve of Bioengineering AG reaches all residues in the reactor without cumbersome removal of the lid

With the pneumatically actuated and fully automatic CIP-valve thorough Cleaning In Place (CIP) of your vessel is ensured.

The CIP-valve is mounted into the lower area of the vessel wall or into the vessel bottom.

The direction and the spray angle of the fan-shaped cleaning jet are adapted to spray the rotating stirrer from below and from the side.

Thus shadows in the spray zone, that might produce insufficient cleaning, are ruled out.

All common cleaning agents are applicable and additionally the CIP-valve can be steam cleaned.

To exclude contaminations of the fermentation broth with the cleaning agent the valve is sealed off during the cultivation process and only inserted into the vessel during the cleaning phases.

Fast, efficient and hygienic cleaning of your fermenter is guaranteed.
