How 'air-intelligent' are you?

Boge Compressors has just announced the launch of the airtelligence energy optimisation system which represents the latest technological thinking in compressed air energy management.
Optimised operating costs, reduced maintenance costs and energy efficiency are all key benefits realised through integrating the airtelligence into a compressed air system with multiple compressors.
Soaring energy costs continues to be a key concern for Factory Managers.
With that in mind, reducing and eradicating where possible, compressed air misuse and wastage remains a firm goal on the agenda.
Compressed air is actually one of the easiest technologies with which to turn around quick and significant energy related reductions.
Integrating an intelligent energy management system to control and monitor the compressed air system, may be one method to achieve optimal compressed air related energy efficiency.
Airtelligence from Boge is a micro-processor controlled multiple compressor energy optimisation system which can simultaneously control, manage and optimise up to 16 compressors.
By monitoring all of the compressors within a compressed air system, airtelligence, systematically and predictively takes control of a system, minimising costly off load running whilst optimising pressure.
Airtelligence really comes into its own as the 'intelligent' controller by its ability to forecast additional or reduced demand.
Once detected, airtelligence automatically switches the compressor choice to ensure system optimisation virtually eliminating load/no-load run cycles.
This optimises the energy use creating immediate savings in compressed air related energy costs.
Crucially, pressure can be controlled to within 0.1 bar - every 1 bar reduction in pressure nominally saves 10% in generation costs.
Continual management and monitoring is assured with the complimentary airtelligence software that reports on flow volume and operating status of all compressors in the system to maintenance intervals, error alerts and most importantly energy consumption and costs for the entire system as well as for each individual compressor.
Ideal for optimising an existing compressed air system, airtelligence, can be integrated into any multiple compressor installation including any variety of compressor models and makes.
