Save energy and space with the Boge SLF range

A Boge Compressors product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Sep 14, 2007

Boge has expanded the SLF range of space saving and energy efficient screw compressors which combine a direct-coupled drive system with frequency control

Boge has launched three new models; the SLF101, SLF125 and SLF221 which now extends the direct-coupled range to 220HP.

The Boge SLF direct-coupled range has an integrated frequency converter which assures the smoothest possible transition from 25 to 100% output whilst maintaining the desired working pressure perfectly.

By re-programming the touch pad control on the frequency converter it is also possible to alter both frequency and air end speed in order to change from 8 to 10 or 13 bar discharge pressures.

With frequency control the Boge SLF direct coupled range adapts the compressor output to the actual demand whilst constantly maintaining the desired pressure.

As a result, idling times and motor switches are avoided and tighter pressure bands can be set to assure energy saving efficiency.

Boge Ratio is a standard feature that provides intelligent energy efficient control with the respective operating parameters clearly visible via an LCD display.

All models can also be supplied with a built-in refrigerant dryer ensuring the compressor footprint is kept to a minimum.

The SLF/SLDF is available in the standard pressure of 8, 10 and 13 bar.

Output capacities range from 1.06 - 28.21 m3/min, motor power 22 to 160kW.
