The Borger highly efficient and effective Powerfeed SSR (Solids and Substrate Feeder) is designed to continuously displace solids and substrates for anaerobic digestion

With backflow prevention, it offers solids injection into the fluid stream, with no added fluid required for dry material feed.

The homogeneous fluid/solids mixture, which can be generated from all types of biodegradable waste, including food waste, is transferred to a selected digester feed-line.

Valves in the pipe system guarantee additional safety and allow flexibility with multiple digesters.

The Borger SSR compression zone (feeding a closed loop system) ensures that the digestion process is not compromised by additional air being introduced with solids feed.

The enhanced installation flexibility of the SSR also means that its location is not restricted by the height and type of digester.

In addition, the heavy maceration and grinding action created by the SSR twin-screw auger means that the homogeneous ground material produced by this high performance Borger Feeder significantly minimises floating material in the digester.
