In 2004, it is celebrating 70 years in business with the launch of its most comprehensive product catalogue ever.

In addition to the established Brookfield range of viscometers, rheometers and accessories, the 2004 Catalogue features two major new developments, the CNS Farnell range of Texture Analysers and the DVII+ Pro Viscometer.

Brookfield has a long tradition of supplying viscometers for flow measurement of foods and liquids.

Now, with its new range of CNS Farnell Texture Analysers, it also offers texture measurement for a wide variety of food and other applications.

The popular LFRA Texture Analyser, designed by the Leatherhead Food Research Association, is ideal for low force applications such as the gelatin Bloom test.

The QTS-25 Texture Analyser is a more sophisticated instrument offering detailed analysis within the demanding R and D environment.

Both instruments are supplied with dedicated software packages and a wide selection of probes and accessories, allowing Oreal-life test regimes to be created for all types of foodstuffs.

The new DV-II+ PRO Viscometer is designed to offer the very best value in viscosity measurement for both QC and R and D applications.

Based on the popular DV-II+ Viscometer, it is versatile and offers a host of added features.

In addition to simple stand-alone operation for single point viscosity measurement, the new DV-II+ PRO features two-way communication capability for computer-controlled operation.

Using established Brookfield Rhoecalc software, the new instrument can undertake advanced data collection and analysis.

Suitable for use with the established range of Brookfield accessories, the DV-II+ PRO is just one more example of the quality and value guaranteed by Brookfield.
