Manufactured by Usifroid, and available in the UK and Ireland from freeze drying specialists Biopharma Process Systems, the Compaclyo range is perfect for your R and D, clinical trials and small production batches.

It incorporates the best available features and benefits of the larger machines.

Built to the very latest standards in freeze-drying technology, the compact and single skid-mounted CL freeze-dryers are designed to fit easily into your plant room using the minimum valuable space.

These units are built to the highest quality, allowing maintenance to be carried out with ease and all parts used are widely available.

The Compaclyo has a shelf area range from 1.5m to 5.8 m and an ice capacity from 20 to 100kg.

Options include hydraulic stoppering, steam sterilisation and clean-in-place making it adaptable to most needs.

The process chamber, external condenser and doors are all constructed from 316L stainless steel, Ra 0.75micron.

All internal piping is welded or flanged.

Systems using sterilisation in place (SIP) are designed to applicable codes and provided with required validation documentation.

The Compaclyo is supplied with the fully automated, validated and proven POLARIS 2 control system as standard.

Designed to be user-friendly and based on Usifroid proven expertise over numerous audited installations worldwide, the POLARIS 2 uses an Allen Bradley PLC as standard (Siemens is optional) for greater flexibility and versatility.

The system provides complete control of all functions including automatic cycle control, batch reports, archiving and 21 CFR part 11 compliance.
