Impressive performance from virtual freeze dryer
The latest addition to the VirTis freeze dryer range is ideal for pilot scale bulk freeze drying applications, particularly those which require rapid freeze-drying and high condenser loading
Shelves can be simply latched to adjust the interspacing.
All units are available with a stoppering option if required.
The VirTual robust 50 litre internal, stainless steel condenser is configured to add the enhancements and features of an external condenser, whilst preventing any vapour impedance during bulk drying.
Although the condenser is a high surface area, internal coil, the chamber has been specifically designed to allow the condenser to be isolated, enabling pressure rise tests to be carried out to give an indication of the end of drying.
Through careful design, this is achieved by lowering the bottom shelf of the unit, which effectively seals off the condenser from the rest of the chamber.
All chamber surfaces are manufactured from polished, stainless steel and are easy to clean whilst chamber and condenser door are manufactured from clear Lucite.
Powerful control systems allow for easy scale-up from clinical and small scale batches to larger scale production and options enable compliancy with modern industry standards, including 21CFR11, if required.
Multi-step, multi-recipe storage and optional external PC control provides the user with flexibility in cycle develoment, historical trending and repeatability.
Three different refrigeration options are available, offering condenser temperatures from -53C to -90C and low shelf temperatures of -48C to -70C for processing varied materials.
All condensers are fitted with an integral, efficient hot gas defrost system to ensure fast turn-around.
Flexibility, impressive processing power and a small footprint combine to make the VirTual freeze dryer the ideal, competitively priced option for pilot scale bulk freeze drying applications.
It is available now in the UK and Ireland through freeze drying experts Biopharma Process Systems. Request a free brochure from Biopharma Process Systems ...
