Due to the success in 2006 of their Hire AdVantage freeze dryer activity, Biopharma Process Systems have decided to make another unit available for hire throughout the UK and Ireland in 2007.

The Hire AdVantage has been a welcome addition to the range to many of our customers.

Some had ordered a freeze dryer, but needed to get started immediately: while others wanted to test their processes before deciding upon a purchase.

Others required freeze drying capabilities for only short-term projects and did not need to purchase a machine for themselves.

The flexibility and ease of use of the Hire AdVantage freeze-dryer ensured that the unit was on hire for nearly the entire year! The new Biopharma Advantage freeze-dryer is available to hire from January 2007.

If you are interested we recommend you contact us as soon as possible as it is likely that it won't be available for long! The VirTis AdVantage is the world's only fully temperature controlled, single shelf, bench-top freeze dryer.

It is already popular in many research laboratories and universities due to its broad range of features and extensive freeze-drying capabilities.

Small enough to fit onto most laboratory benchtops, it has complete flexibility to process bulk, vials or flasks in a space-saving design.

It is ideal for small scale freeze drying applications, such as those occurring in pilot or research and development laboratories.

The shelf is capable of temperatures from -60C to +65C, with a 2.0 litre process condenser achieving a low temperature of -70C.

The AdVantage is supplied with the new 'Wizard2' control system that provides storage of up to 16 separate recipes each with 12 freezing and 16 primary drying steps that include step, hold or rate function and vacuum control for complete flexibility in cycle formulation and also a vial stoppering system.

These state-of-the-art control systems ensure precise freeze-drying control, particularly important for handling extremely valuable or sensitive biological materials.

The AdVantage is available to hire from Biopharma Process Systems throughout the UK and Ireland with an accompanying vacuum pump and oil mist eliminator.

We are also able to offer qualified assistance on all aspects of formulation and cycle development - please contact us for more details.
