High tech freeze dryers for the pharma
industry

Usifroid has always held a key position in the supply of high tech freeze dryers to the pharmaceutical industry, and now introduces an updated SMH Monoskid to further meet the demands of cGMP

Continued investment in R+D has led to significant improvement in its standard range of freeze dryers, which have been streamlined not only to meet the exacting demands of cGMP but also to be offered at a very attractive price Reliability and the ability to customise were key to the success of the original modular SMH system and it was important that any improvements made did not compromise these features

The SMH Monoskid has improved compactness and ease of maintenance and fully meets all GMP, FDA and GAMP guidelines.

The automated locking, flush door with constant level loading options, shortest vapour flow paths, improved robust shelf design, latest insulating materials and Usifroid expertise combine to offer the most advanced and efficient systems for long term reliability.

A unique patented stoppering system allows for adjustable speed and force and enables the freeze dryer to be used with one or more shelves empty without damage to product or machine.

The proven Polaris2 control system, either Allen Bradley or Siemens based, provides a wide range of options and tools including recipe management, audit trail, account and password management and reporting.

A wide range of performance options is available for the refrigeration system including a super-cool liquid nitrogen option.

Condenser capacities range from 25 to 250 kg with shelf capacity from 1.2 to 15.6m2 .

The standard designs meet 95% of all applications.

Biopharma has long recognised the need for providing local technical support for all the equipment that it supplies.

When equipment is not supported locally it can lead to long delays or a total absence of qualified support.

Biopharma believes that support of its equipment is vital and has always ensured that providing adequate service options is a vital aspect of its strategy.

Its engineers are always closely involved in new installations and qualifications and are routinely updated with factory training from our principals.

Usifroid is committed to making substantial investments in R+D, so expect continuing improvements and new developments in this complex area of technology. Request a free brochure from Biopharma Process Systems ...
