The Bosch Rexroth seminar on the effective maintenance of hydraulic machinery will be at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham this year, on 9 October

Taking place from 9.00am - 4.30pm at the National Motorcycle Museum, this year's seminar is the fifth of its kind from Bosch Rexroth which has been running them annually since 2002 Attendance has grown in this time from 40 delegates in 2002 to over 80 engineering professionals at last year's event

This year's seminar will give those working with hydraulic machinery a chance to hear the latest information from industry experts about topics like how to successfully commission and maintain hydraulic pumps, motors and cylinders through to sources of contamination and cleanliness classes of hydraulics systems.

Presentations on the day will consist of eight half-hour seminars delivered both by experts from Bosch Rexroth and its customers and partners.

The full line-up of presentations includes:.

* Bosch Rexroth - Successful Commissioning and Maintenance of Hydraulic Pumps, Motors and Cylinders.

* Hydrotechnik - Conditioning Monitoring of Hydraulic Systems.

* Bosch Rexroth - Designing Systems and Power Packs for Optimum Maintenance.

* BAE Systems Submarine Solutions - Designing Hydraulic Systems for Nuclear Submarines.

* Bosch Rexroth - A Comprehensive Service Network.

* Mahle Filter Systems UK - Sources of Contamination and Cleanliness Classes of Hydraulic Systems.

* Bosch Rexroth in conjunction with Electroimpact - Flight into the world of Hydraulic Maintenance at Airbus.

The final presentation of the day comes from special guest speaker, Steve Austen, Principal Naval Architect for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Steve will talk about the challenges involved in the design and support of lifeboats and their equipment.

Held in the Premier Suite at the National Motorcycle Museum, the event will not be all hard work.

During an extended lunch break delegates will have the opportunity to visit the Motorcycle Museum for which Bosch Rexroth has arranged a significantly discounted entry fee.

There will also be an exhibition area at the back of the seminar room with exhibits from the day's speakers as well as some hydraulic power units and sample cylinders and valves on display.
