Thanks to a construction with two directly-controlled 2/2-way proportional valves, a dynamic is attained with an air flow of 100L/min that is only possible with larger nominal widths in other units.
Exact regulation controlled by a microprocessor is an additional feature of the new pressure regulator.
Here, the Rexroth ED02 provides repetitive precision of 0.44psi (30mbar) and excellent values with a hysteresis of 0.73psi (50mbar).
Four ED02 series pressure regulators from Rexroth can be linked to each other without a base plate.
Compressed air supply is possible from both sides, permitting extremely flexible use in a system.
The supply voltage, analogue set point and actual value are electrically connected via a central M12 plug.
The unit is universally applicable in spite of a low power consumption of 300mA maximum: from simple remote pressure adjustment to complex control.
Additionally, the Rexroth ED02 is available with sealing to IP65, compatible with the harsher environments where they are often installed.
The Rexroth ED02 joins the ranks of a series of electro-pneumatic pressure regulators, including the ED05 with 1000L/min flow, the ED07 with up to 1300L/min and the ED12 with flows of 2600L/min, making it easier to find the right valve for every application.
