New Executives at Peter Brotherhood

Peterborough-based engineering company Peter Brotherhood has appointed a new Chairman, John Kempster, and a Non-Executive Director, David Harvey, to promote International business development

Peterborough-based engineering company Peter Brotherhood has appointed a new Chairman and a Non-Executive Director.

The two appointments will help the company to further develop its already successful global business through organic growth and acquisition.

John Kempster has been appointed as Chairman of Peter Brotherhood Group and David Harvey as Non-Executive Director.

John has been a Non-Executive Director with Peter Brotherhood since November 2003.

He has immense international business experience in the power generation and oil and gas industries having previously been Group Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Energy and an Executive Director in ABB for more than 25 years, two companies recognised as being world leaders in their industry.

Working for these companies he has been responsible for businesses in Europe, the Pacific rim, America and Africa.

David Harvey has extensive boardroom experience in roles as Chairman, Executive and Non-Executive Director of companies.

He has been responsible for launching start-up companies as well as running companies in the UK, Europe, USA, South Africa and Australia.

Previously he was Merger and Acquisitions Director at Rolls Royce plc.

"Already 80 per cent of our order book comes from overseas markets.

John and David's experience in international markets and with acquisitions will be immensely valuable to us for the future." Peter Brotherhood specialises in the design and manufacture of steam turbines and gas compressors for process and energy industries worldwide.
