New sales and marketing director

Steve Wellburn has been appointed as sales and marketing director of Peterborough-based engineering company Peter Brotherhood, for steam turbines and reciprocating gas compressors

Steve Wellburn has been appointed as sales and marketing director of Peterborough-based engineering company Peter Brotherhood.

He will be responsible for overseeing the company's steam turbine and reciprocating gas compressor sales divisions, as well as its international marketing activities across all products and services.

Steve brings with him more than twenty years experience of turbo machinery, working with companies such as Ruston Gas Turbines, Alstom Power, Dale Power Systems and Siemens.

His last role was regional sales director at Siemens in Lincoln where he was responsible for small and medium sized gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, which are manufactured in Lincoln, Hengelo, Duisburg and Finspong.

Stephen Fitzpatrick, managing director of Peter Brotherhood, said: "Steve's appointment as sales and marketing director will strengthen our current activities and enhance our strategic approach to international sales and marketing.

He brings significant experience of several blue chip companies and joins us at a time of growth and expansion".

In 2007, the company will be celebrating 140 years of business and 100 years of designing and manufacturing steam turbines.
