Born out of the individual strengths of Bourdon Sedeme, Haenni and Kamstrup, Bourdon-Haenni is the powerful new force in the manufacture and distribution of high technology industrial instrumentation.

This powerful new force in the manufacture and distribution of high technology industrial instrumentation can truly be described as 'made to measure' Bourdon Sedeme is a famous name in the manufacture of mechanical instrumentation including pressure gauges, temperature gauges and switches

Operating predominately in the petrochemical and OEM markets, its major emphasis has been on the transport sectors, such as aeronautics and railways.

Haenni Instruments is a market leader in Switzerland with a significant presence in the German market.

Its major Swiss markets are pharmaceuticals and HVAC, whilst in Germany it is strong in the chemicals and automotive industries.

Kamstrup Process has a very different pedigree.

Based in Denmark, the company has an entirely electronic product range developed specifically for the food and beverage processing industries.

The product range is built around complete programmability and unique user functions that provide flexibility and simplicity of operation.

The merger of these well known and entirely complementary products and skills to form Bourdon-Haenni produces a new company that is market orientated and focused on four main industrial sectors: pharmaceutical and biotech; petrochemical; food and beverage and chemical process.

Existing clients include Pfizer, Shell Exploration, Mars, Coca Cola Enterprises, Dow Corning and Roche.

Many of these companies operate worldwide and the new group has the resources to provide a global support package with offices throughout Europe as well as Singapore, Venezuela and the USA.

Bourdon-Haenni is already a multi-national operation and with a single identity and common goals will use the power of its wide product range and market synergy to become a leading world-wide supplier of measuring instruments.
