Configurable pressure transmitter from Baumer
With the FlexBar 3431, Baumer's product segment Process Instrumentation offers a fully configurable pressure transmitter with Profibus PA communication.
Electrical connection is made via M16 gland and 4-pole plug (M12).
Measuring vacuum, absolute and gauge pressure up to 400 bar with fast response, 14 bit accuracy and excellent temperature compensation the FlexBar 3431 works with media temperatures ranging from -30 to 200C with overpressure up to 400 percent.
A wide range of process connections can be supplied, such as flush diaphragm, gauge connection, DIN, DS, BS, SMS, ISO, GEA Varivent and 3A hygienic couplings.
FlexBar is available in EEx ia IIC T5 versions.
In hazardous environments up to 6 instruments can be connected on a 2-wire Profibus cable according to the FISCO standard.
The transmitter is designed with a focus on applications in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
The FlexBar complements the CombiTemp stainless steel temperature measuring system including the FlexTop2231 Profibus PA transmitter giving users a complete pressure and temperature product solution.
