The diffuse sensor with background suppression is equipped with a diode line as its receiver and the sensing range is adjusted by means of an easy-to-use teach-in procedure

The new housing line convinces by its low mounting depth and front-side installation.

The family comes equipped with several helpful properties whose application results in a clear improvement in security.

Thus, the diffuse sensor with background suppression is equipped with a diode line as its receiver and the sensing range is adjusted by means of an easy-to-use teach-in procedure.

In the remaining sensors, the sensitivity/sensing range is adjusted by means of a potentiometer.

In addition, the sensors are equipped with a special algorithm that suppresses the reciprocal optical influence of adjacent sensors.

The compact Series 20 housing line offers a complete family covering all scanning principles: a diffuse sensor (sensing range: 650 mm), a diffuse sensor with background suppression (sensing range: 200 mm), a through beam sensor (nominal range: 8 m), and a retro-reflexive sensor with polarizing filter (nominal range: 5 m).

Thus, optical, inductive, capacitive, and ultrasonic sensors are now available in the same design.

The Sensofix mounting kit represents an optimal solution as a useful accessory for simple mounting and quick start-up - and this for all technologies!.
