Configurable pressure transmitter from Baumer
With the FlexBar 3431, Baumer's product segment Process Instrumentation offers a fully configurable pressure transmitter with Profibus PA communication.
Fast response Modbus pressure transmitter
A specially developed Modbus pressure transmitter, the Baumer EC6, is unique in having an extremely fast response time of only 1msec
The device is designed in an epoxy-coated aluminium case making it ideal for measurements in the field.
The pressure transmitter is based on the Transbar technology and therefore suitable for measuring most media.
Installed on a pressure measurement point of a process, the Barflex IrDA enables automatic and continuous data acquisition.
Up to 16,000 points maximum in different time intervals can be recorded.
The intervals available between measurements cover from 0.5 sec to one hour.
Therefore both fast measurements and long-term measurements are possible.
The data export takes place over a standardised infrared interface.
The software supplied for the data display is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, XP and Vista operating systems.
The pressure gauge offers a range of measurement from 1 to 400 bar gauge or absolute; devices with a range of up to 1000 can be provided on request.
The units available are mbar, bar, kPa, Mpa, psi and kg/cm, with an accuracy of +/- 0.25 percent of the measurement range and a +/-1 display point.
The Barflex IrDA memorises automatically minimum and maximum pressures, which are recallable on the display.
This allows an easy analysis of the pressure conditions in the field.
The device conform to CE requirements 89/336 and 97/23, and can also perform leak tests.
