Anglian Water honours for Brightwater

The work of the Brightwater FLI process engineering support division, ABIC-Brightwater, has been recognised by Anglian Water at its 2007 Business Excellence Awards

The prestigious nomination for 'Supplier Contribution to Service Excellence' was achieved for exemplary process engineering support.

Mobile tertiary treatment technology supplied by ABIC-Brightwater has helped Anglian Water maintain wastewater compliance and reduce tankering costs.

It has also provided a vital tool to improve serviceability and reduce failures.

Speaking at the glittering awards ceremony, which was held at the Duxford American Air Museum, Jonson Cox, Chief Executive of Anglian Water Group, said, "We achieve all of our results through people and it's great to be able to celebrate success and so many of the projects that go right across the company".

Anglian Water has taken top honours by coming first in the Ofwat annual 'Overall Performance Assessment' league table.

The excellent result comes in a year of challenging climatic conditions.
