The new "all rounder" mechanical
pressure switch

The new compact pressure switch Series 8000 has various applications resulting from its modular construction and flexibility: it suits large OEM requirements as well as bespoke customer applications

The new compact pressure switch Series 8000 from Barksdale - manufacturer of electronic and mechanical pressure switches - is introduced as the successor to previously successful XTM, XTK, X1T and 9620X range of pressure switches The proven technology, manufacturing knowledge, and experience of these four mechanical pressure switches is incorporated in this switch providing the Series 8000 with superior performance and capability

A modular concept has been used in design, construction and assembly that allows for flexibility in addressing large quantity OEM customer requirements as well as bespoke customer applications.

The Series 8000 uses six ranges to cover pressure range from 0.4 to 600 bar.

This number of measuring ranges enables low and precise set-point adjustment, which is carried out by an internal hexagon screw.

Various options are available for both the electrical and pressure connections.

What is new, is a unique feature, which allows for optimum alignment of the electrical connection, as it can be rotated through 360deg after installation of the switch.

All these features and the compact construction make the new Series 8000 a trend-setting product suitable for numerous industrial pressure switch applications. Request a free brochure from Barksdale Control Products ...
