Mass flow data transfer
Digital interfaces are now available for the EL-Flow range of thermal mass flow controllers from Bronkhorst.
These compact instruments are available for single stream or for multi-stream gas flow control in assemblies that minimise gas panels and eliminate interconnecting pipework The EL-Flow sensor has analogue and RS232 interfaces: the digital interface PCB offers DeviceNet, Profibus-DP and Flow-Bus (RS485) protocols

Research reactor batches use Coriolis technology
In designing the reactor feed, great emphasis was placed on accurate material delivery and fluid containment: a Coriolis flowmeter and control valve are used to provide the critical flow control
EL-Flow units are used in high-tech applications such as chromatography and spectroscopy, as well as for controlling gas supplies in the food, fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals industries.
The new sales and service centre for Bronkhorst UK is based near Cambridge, providing gas mass flow application support and engineering for all industries.
A traceable flow recalibration and certification service is available for all makes of thermal mass flow meters and for the Bronkhorst range of Coriolis mass flow meters and controllers.
All units can be calibrated for the specific gas in use, via the Bronkhorst calibration programme: this system also allows for complicated gas mixtures.
