Bronkhorst High-Tech BV, specialists in low flow measurement and control, have introduced a new generation of digital liquid flow meters/controllers for (very) low flow ranges.

The u-Flow Series L01 can measure flow ranges down to 25 to 500 nanolitres per minute, and control from 5 to 100 mg/h and higher.

For ranges higher than 2 g/h Liqui-Flow digital mass flow meters/controllers can be used up to 1000 g/h (full scale values) The standard material of construction for the sensor is SS316, but alternatively PEEK or fused silica can be offered.

The new sensor design features a minimum internal volume of 1.5 to 20 microlitres (flow meter with SS316 sensor), depending on flow range.

The u-Flow is offered with analogue I/O-signals, such as 0-5 Vdc or 4-20 mA, and digital communication via RS-232 as a standard.

As an option, an on-board fieldbus interface can be provided eg Profibus-DP, DeviceNet or Modbus.
