Cameron calibration lab NST-certified

A Cameron Measurement Systems product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Sep 5, 2008

Cameron Measurement Systems has received formal NST certification of accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025/2005 for its hydrogen calibration laboratory in Pittsburgh, PA.

The accreditation by NIST NVLAP (National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program) confirms that the laboratory can perform hydrocarbon calibrations on ultrasonic and other type flow meters from 4in to 24in in size, using up to three different oils and covering a viscosity range from 1.5 to 200 centistokes.

The laboratory has a heat exchange system that allows operating temperature to be controlled and stabilised, providing an accurate calibration since Reynolds numbers can be precisely controlled.

This in-house calibration capability allows Cameron to provide timely and cost-effective calibrations as part of its product offering.
