protection

For fluid power equipment, Brownell has introduced a range of low pressure relief valves for use in a wide range of industrial applications Low pressures can be destructive or cause malfunction to fluid power, storage vessels and pressure sensitive instruments

There are many practical applications where a positive atmosphere of several bar within a vessel is the normal operating level.

A negative pressure of just a few millibars however could result in permanent damage.

Low pressure relief valves are also used to prevent damage to equipment being transported in aircraft and helicopters under rapid decompression conditions.

Brownell Low Pressure Relief Valves are available in a range of sizes from 6mm to 150 mm in diameters to suit flow rate requirements of 0.1 litres/min to 10,000 litres/min depending on the maximum differential pressure.

The low pressure relief valves are also available in three configurations of positive pressure opening, negative pressure opening and combined two way relief valve opening.

They can be opened at 1 millibar, and up to 1000 millibars.

Low pressure relief valves from Brownell are available in a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, brass and plastics to suit different applications and budgets. Request a free brochure from Brownell ...
