Pressure relief valve for high air flow
rates

Brownell has introduced an automatic pressure relief valve which withstands extremely high flow rates, and can be operated from a remote position if required

Brownell has introduced an automatic pressure relief valve which withstands extremely high flow rates can be operated from a remote position if required Manufactured in high grade stainless steel, the valve is suitable for corrosive and aggressive environments including marine applications

It can be operated remotely over distances of up to 500m by means of a 60 PSI pneumatic signal, which actuates a linear drive cylinder.

A feature of this valve is its ability to control the differential pressure by using the linear drive cylinder to vary the orifice size.

Differential pressure is accurately monitored with the valve open and closed through the pressure access ports.

The Brownell valve is capable of handling up to 5 cubic metres per minute of air or gas flow, subject to the differential pressure required.

Typical applications include controlling nitrogen gas for inert gas product blanketing, and maintaining accurate pressure differentials during process applications. Request a free brochure from Brownell ...
