Busch UK have launched a complete new series of advanced side channel blowers: the Samos SB boasts a revolutionary design by being manufactured as one complete machine

The Samos SB boasts a revolutionary design by being manufactured as one complete machine Superior performance, longer service life and less downtime are just some of the benefits the new machine promises to deliver

An air blower represents a considerable investment but with a longer lifespan the Samos SB delivers excellent value for money.

With one complete shaft running through the whole machine, there is no need for couplings or a front end bearing on the motor.

This important feature eliminates vibration, making the pump outlive other side channels on the market.

A key failure of side channels in the past was that the front end bearing got too hot.

Because it was buried deep inside the machine, the bearing either seized, burning the pump out or the impeller shattered.

With Busch's unique bearing arrangement on the Samos SB, the temperature of the front end bearing is reduced by 20%, eliminating this problem.

The new machines can be used in all applications with pulsation free vacuum or blast air demand, with the blower installation horizontal or vertical.

They are available in different sizes, in single - and two stage execution.

The Samos SB volume range is 80 up to 1300 meters cube per hour and the differential pressure from max 480 mbar in pressure and max 400 mbar in vacuum.

This makes them ideal for coarse industrial applications such as pneumatic conveying systems, transport and lifting and environmental technology, as well as packaging, plastic food and textile industries.
