Developed for an application in France, several BTS FM106-IS depth/level transmitters have been ordered for arduous conditions in exceptionally deep bore holes, in a mining application certified as a hazardous area - descending to 1200 metres, certified Ex I M1 Ex ia I - Group I Ex II 1G Ex ia IIC T4 - Group II Each cell is fully vented with moisture prevention, is powered from a 12 - 36 v DC source and gives a 4-20mA - 2 wire current loop output proportional to depth/level
Temperature compensation is standard, and each unit includes a calibration sheet - reflecting the customers required scaling.
Integral strain members prevent the long lengths of submersible cable from stretching, ensuring that accurate depth/level readings are maintained.
