BSL Brammer, the leading UK distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products has appointed Michael England as a Key Account Director

BSL Brammer, the leading UK distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products has appointed Michael England as a Key Account Director.

In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the strategy and development of BSL Brammer Key Account business across specific industry sectors, including automotive, food and drink, petrochemical, oil and gas, utility, paper and packaging and construction and aggregates.

He will also focus on expanding the company's existing Key Account customer base, as well as business growth into new market sectors.

Michael England brings a wealth of sales and management experience to BSL Brammer.

Prior to joining the company he spent three years with Hagemeyer UK, most recently as National Sales Manager.

Commenting on his new role, Michael England says: ''I am delighted to be joining the company at such an exciting time.

There is a strong team ethos at BSL Brammer which is critical to Key Account success, as everyone across the business, from delivery driver to branch, regional sales and the Key Account teams, works together to deliver continuous customer service''.

With a turnover of GBP103 million and over 800 employees, BSL Brammer offers a range of over half a million individual products via a national network of 82 Sales and Service Centres.

The extensive product range covers bearings, mechanical power transmission products (including gearboxes and motors), pneumatics, hydraulics, seals, industrial automation as well as a complete range of tools, maintenance and health and safety products.

The company is an authorised distributor for many of the world's leading brands including SKF, NSK, Renold, Gates, Flender, Siemens, SMC, Norgren, Rocol and Loctite.

By combining technical expertise with excellence in supply-chain logistics, purchasing and the management of third-party providers, BSL Brammer has a proven track record of saving its customers money within three critical business areas: reducing total acquisition costs; improving overall production efficiency; and reducing working capital.
