Tennant customer benefit from Defra scheme

A Tennant product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jan 13, 2010

Tennant UK is offering customers a way to boost their cash flow, reduce water use and reduce water bills through the Defra Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme for water-efficient technologies.

The scheme enables Tennant customers in contract cleaning, facilities management, food and drink, retail, warehousing and logistics, healthcare, engineering and manufacturing among other industries to claim 100 per cent first-year capital allowance on investments in technologies that encourage sustainable water use.

Tennant customers are able to write off the whole cost of their investment against their taxable profits of the period during which they make the investment rather than spreading it over up to 12 years.

The scheme covers all Tennant pedestrian Fast and ec-H20 machines purchased since September 2009.
