Assembly workstations dealing with press-in tasks need hand lever presses where the press-in force is measured and evaluated in correlation to the press-in displacement

Further to each executed working cycle the classification of good and bad parts is controlled, especially important and imperative for the production of safety relevant parts The new load cells model 8451 from burster can be mounted directly between tool and press lifter, fully without any additional extension or modification parts which on their part in the majority of cases generate unrepeatable measuring errors through friction

Fast and easy like a tool change the installation of the load cells is conducted.

Thus finally the actually applied assembling, press-in or riveting force becomes known - and all this in view of the quality and durability of the manufactured product.

The newly developed measuring ranges up to 2 kN feature an integrated mechanical overload protection of up to the quintuple load of their measuring range full scale.

This allows a precise measurement, for difficult parts, of the often small press-in forces.

Besides the load cell the ready-to-start process monitoring package offered by burster contains the force-displacement measuring device Digiforce 9310, the displacement sensor and also the appropriate hand lever press.

Existing presses can be upgraded without any problem.
