During and after a fire, when the resilient material has been partially or completely destroyed, the metal seat provides a positive seal by remaining in constant contact with the disc in either direction of line media flow.
The S41 is part of the Bray line of Series 40 high performance butterfly valves designed for high pressure, high and low temperature applications.
This line offers bi-directional, bubble-tight shut off with Class 150, 300 or 600 pressure ratings in wafer and lug style bodies sized from 2.5'' to 54''.
