New, smaller ball valve lockout from Iso-lok
The latest addition to the Castell Iso-lok range of ball valve lockouts has been designed for use with ball valves of up to 1 inch diameter, for use ensuring personnel safety in maintenance shut downs
These are used to lock-off and isolate machinery safely and very visibly during cleaning and maintenance operations.
British Gypsum-Isover is owned jointly by British Gypsum and Isover Saint Gobain.
Its GBP20 million plant in Runcorn, Cheshire, is one of the most modern of its kind in the world.
The company manufactures Isowool glass mineral wool insulation products for thermal and acoustic insulation in buildings and for industrial heating and ventilation applications.
The Castell Iso-Lok highly visible personal danger boards with embedded photographs provide a clear warning to all personnel that a machine is locked off for maintenance or cleaning.
They also enable simple identification of who is working on plant or machinery, contributing to a greater degree of workplace safety and efficiency.
To eliminate the possibility of a board being removed by mistake, each has a unique personal padlock attached.
If more than one person is working on a piece of equipment a Multi-Clasp is used.
The Multi-clasp is attached to the relevant anchor point and each operative inserts their own padlock into the clasp.
Access can only be restored once all padlocks are removed.
